Our mission is to act as a catalyst within the North Texas business community and beyond, through the sharing of knowledge, skills, innovative thinking in a mutually beneficial relationship. By utilizing our member organizations, faculty and student expertise we will focus on the areas of Information Technology, Quality, Business Continuity and Security, Continuous Improvement and Decision Making techniques. Since its founding more than three decades ago, the Caruth Institute has continuously developed innovative courses and programs to help individuals keep pace with the dynamic, rapidly changing field of entrepreneurship. The Institute currently offers more than 18 custom-designed courses to give students the skills and knowledge necessary to launch and manage successful entrepreneurial ventures. Offers over 20 for-credit university courses, requires admissions to degree program, and Non-credit certificate course on Starting A Business--8 sessions-- for current and aspiring entrepreneurs --$675 for entire program, with open admissions, offered three times a year
